The Support Network at Penn National is a non-profit membership organization of residents seeking to sustain the quality of their lives during the process of aging, especially at times of illness or life-changing events.

§  September 14 – Mini Golf Night of Fun

SNaP members will meet at the Penn National Golf Center at 6 p.m. to play. $1 per person in advance; $2 per person at the event Light refreshments will be served. Call the executive director at 352-2612 to register.

 

§  September 19 – 28 – Gently Read Book Collection

Once again, a book sale will take place at the pot luck supper in October and SNaP is collecting donations of gently read books. Relatively new books, either paperback or hardcover, top our bestseller list. Textbooks and books in poor condition will not be accepted.

§  September 21 - Identity Theft Workshop

SNaP members are invited to attend an identity theft workshop on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Grove Family Library. This workshop will be presented by Marlin L. Maclay and includes a workbook. Call the executive director at 352-2612 to reserve your space.

 

§  October 12 - 4th Annual Pot Luck Supper and Book Sale

SNaP members and volunteers are invited to bring your appetites and come prepared to enjoy an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun at SNaP’s annual pot luck supper and book sale, to be held on October 12, 2011 at Norlo Park from 4:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. The park is located at 3050 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville.

§  November 26 - Annual Holiday Bazaar

The holiday bazaar will be held at the Penn National Club house on November 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Anyone interested in exhibiting their craft should contact the executive director at 352-2612.
