AMBULANCE SERVICE

I have received a request to put local ambulance and E.M.S. information on the PNHA web site.  This is the latest as provided by the Mont Alto & Fayetteville ambulance squads.

My understanding, based on phone interviews, is:

Either organization can be dispatched to Penn National in response to a 911 call.  The 911 dispatcher will determine the correct organization to dispatch based on the type of service required and availability.  Either one can provide emergency medical transportation to a medical facility.  In addition to transportation, Fayetteville is able to provide emergency medical treatment.

Both will bill your insurance (Medicare etc.), and membership will cover the cost not covered by insurance.  Mont Alto membership is $40 for 2 household members and Fayetteville is $45.

For more information, view the following flyers provide by each unit.  Contact them directly for more details.  If you find the flyers hard to read because of the small font size, use the Zoom feature on you web browser (Ctrl + to zoom in Ctrl - to zoom out on Internet Explorer).
